Coastal Dreamscape #1: Violet Resonance

Dream-like color permeates a coastal mountain slope here. Form is fluid and capricious, and gathers in sweeping arcs that define the contours of the landscape. It’s a vision, a loose, shifting mirage of hallucinogenic hues rather than a painstaking compilation of geographic features. Violet permeates the whole piece and combines the expressionistic colour forms. Apple green and crimson are the soprano voice, the melody floating above it all.
