Highland Tapestry Overture #1
Rolling hills teem with the surging rhythm of spring. Abstract tapestries of wildflowers and grasses alternate with color fields that traverse the view, angled across the slopes. The highlands burst into life along exhilarating, sweeping arcs. Broad passages of lilac and violet unify the composition, and I wove apple green and crimson into the piece almost as colorful melodic highlights. Blustery clouds carry the energy of springtime up through the air.
