Prairie Symphony #2
A grand sweep of grainfields segues into the banks of a river. The broad rhythm of cultivated tracts of land are like sustained orchestral chords, of color. As they encounter the rougher natural forms along the river course, textures and shapes become more intricate and complex, gathering into vivid passages. Each is intended to be like different instruments playing solo passages within a big orchestration.

Everything is transfixed, only the light moves.”
