Shoreline Strata Fugue #1

A linear fugue of rock strata sweeps across this piece, with energetic, dance-like rhythms. Bands of deep color ripple over the rock, animating it and also calling to mind their source: layers of seabed. Like the turquoise sea behind it. Wafting up softly across the sky, gentle sea breezes carry streaks of cloud and echo some of the forms of the sea and coastline below.
